Some of the people stood up to speak with quiet, business-like facts, trying very hard to reason with CDFA. Others, once they were in front of the microphone, must have been so upset that they just lost it and began screaming, doubtless unable to contain the very real rage that they feel about what this agency is doing…perhaps feeling that if you scream, the people you’re screaming at will realize how unacceptable and damaging their actions are. All of them had very meaningful, important things to say, but I found myself feeling like you just can’t reason with or shame this agency, no matter what you do.

Like you, I wonder, what is the proper response to an agency that would drop poison on children? In a sane world, people who cause devastation in society are brought to justice and must face legal consequences for their harm. But what do you do when you live under a government that makes dropping poison on children a funded program? What do you say, what do you do?

After being involved in this struggle for so many months, I have begun to conclude that the best action I can take is to continue to talk, write and educate about pesticides/herbicides in hopes that an educated California will eventually ban all such substances. Then, no agency can use them. No private person can use them. And the children, men and women will no longer be under this assault.

Thank you for coming and whispering the truth that you feel, Robert. I appreciate your comments and your solidarity.

We are supposed to stay calm in this modern day society where style is judged as more important than substance and therefore composure while lying is often better accepted than an agitated delivery of the truth.

So I will try to stay calm and just whisper the following:

Those persons in the CDFA who are responsible for this unnecessary LBAM pesticide program are willing murderers of children. They have already abused tens of thousands of children with toxic chemicals in the Central Coast area.

Hopefully there are others who will recognize the heinous crimes of these CDFA representatives and they will shout it out loud enough and long enough so that charges will be filed against these vicious cowards who hide behind the CDFA organization shield. They need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and removed from free society for these heinous crimes so that other children will be safe in their schools and communities and in their homes.
