So, after a vote on forcing members back into the chamber, Speaker Reid ordered the sergeant at arms to awaken senators and bring them back to the Capitol. And I think that the various groups and folks and politicians fighting LBAM should pay the closest attention to people like you who have already lost the assurance of good health. We are reacting so resolutely to the LBAM program because we are horrified to think of the sickness that will be inflicted on people. We don't want anyone to go through what we go through to make it through some days. I'm really sorry to know of your struggles and can offer not just sympathy but empathy. I understand! Well that’s as scary as heck. Interestingly, some of the effects of global warming are not unprecedented on planet Earth. The end of the last major ice age caused the ocean levels to rise in a way that really changed the landscape of the planet and altered human and animal habitation areas.

The difference, of course, is that the last melt down was not full of man-made chemicals, and it sounds like this one is. Really troubling.

Oh, our poor, beautiful world. Every country in ever corner of the earth should be turning 100% of their skills, brains and time to protecting our precious home.
