Unfortunately, US laws do more to protect the chemical manufacturer than the public. Chemical companies are legally allowed to keep their ingredients secret because their formulas are considered proprietary information – ‘trade secrets’. This is, obviously, totally unethical when you are dealing with substances that the public will be exposed to, but unfortunately, it is how current US laws work. They need to be changed.

What we do know about the twist ties is that they are poisonous, so not safe to put on your fruit trees or in your yard. The ingredients that we do know about are dangerous to people and animals, so they are not safe.

If you are living in an area where CDFA intends to put twist ties on your property, you do, apparently, have the right to refuse them access to your private property, but I don’t really know what the process would be. If any of my readers know how to refuse CDFA access to private property, I hope they will explain it to all of us.

and “Who” says leave the gates open, pets secured, etc. so the ties can be installed… What if we do not want them on our trees, in our yard? It’s also says if we want to remove them we should call the project office so someone can come and remove them. What so special about this removing? So how legal is all this and what are our rights to have the real trueth disclosed (would be nice to have this before the procedures of eradication start)

Political corruption is another phrase we cannot couple with Arnold Schwarzenegger enough. Since he was elected , he’s appointed more the 20 people to high offices – all of these people have paid him large sums of money for the ‘favor’. That’s political corruption, straight up, isn’t it?
