Dear QueenBee -
This is Mim, the VeganReader blogger...Jane is one of my readers. I can see how that might be confusing!

I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Again, this sounds like a sudden exposure to either estrogen or some other hormone component or instigator has caused you to recommence menstruation.

And, as you can see, you are among many women who were menopausal and then began menstruating again. Can you clarify for me, are you still having a cycle now in May, all these months after the spray?

Thank you, again, for taking time to document your experience. I am so sorry for you being exposed to these harmful chemicals.

Dear Jane,
Thank you for this website, it is wonderful,I am glad to see I am not alone.
I haven't had a period in a year, then the spray happened and I started having a period every 27 days.
I always had a 25 day cycle for years. I did have a headache and joint aches. At first I just thought I am not really in menopause, I have heard this happen before, but I worked out in my yard before and after the spray and I broke out into a rash, and I was wearing leather gloves. I haven't been tracking my periods since they started up again, but I will now since there is the possibility of another spray.

Dear Jane,
I really appreciate you sharing your experience here. If you have any friends or loved ones who experienced similar health effects, please encourage them to come document them here.

It definitely seems to me that hormonal imbalance of some kind is at the heart of this. Menopausal women resuming menstruation, menstrual periods missing or coming early - as in your case - it really sounds to me like a very bizarre overdose of estrogen or a suppression of one of the chemicals and hormones that are a necessary part of the chain of events which cause monthly menstruation.

I am so hoping we can get more information about this. Thank you, again, for commenting.

My period is like clockwork and occurs every 29-30 days. After the spray and for 4 months afterward my period was 25-26 days! This has never happened. Checkmate's label says that it last in the environment for 120 days. Well, after 4 months, my period resumed to my 29-30 day cycle. Coincidence? We will see if this happens the next time we get sprayed -- hopefully not! Pheromones/hormones DO have an affect on all of us -- we all just need to be aware.
