The idea of a representative government is a joke to this administration and, apparently, several administrations before this. Every day I am more in awe of the writers of the Constitution and the amazing protections they tried to provide. The only way to a better world now is for each of us to be as active and aware as possible. There are still a few investigative reporters and we must prevail upon them to do their duty for the American people. I have been somewhat heartened by the fact that CBS 5 has continued to have more informative articles on LBAM. Let's write to Anna Werner at CBS 5 and ask her to find the money trail and the corruption and then pray, meditate - whatever gives us individual strength - that we can break through this very great evil that holds our country hostage. I think about the fact that the U.S. Constitution was written by men who had escaped from lands where tyranny was government. The Constitution is written, very carefully, in an attempt to prevent tyranny from taking root in America, but little by little, elected and appointed officials have found excuses for bypassing the laws for their own aims, and so we are finding ourselves living under tyrannical rule, unprotected by the laws that were created to protect us. I read a comment somewhere the other day that a group of LBAM spray protesters are working on visualizing the end of the spray and the joy that will be felt in this land when the spraying is halted. I thought that was a nice approach. And, I think in addition to meditating upon or praying for a just outcome, we've got get to work on seeking people who are not corrupted by the power they enjoy once they are in office.
